Reef Bar

The Reef Bar is a spacious, light and casually elegant bar in which to relax, while enjoying the sights of Mission Bay.

A stylish venue for after work socialising or pre-dinner drinks, The Reef Bar also offers an eclectic menu for brunch, lunch and dinner.

Located upstairs on the corner of Tamaki Drive and Patteson Avenue, The Reef Bar is very inviting - it is spacious and light with a slightly nautical theme.

Sit at a table on the deck, which while fully enclosed has an innovative Venetian-style opening roof. This is the ideal spot to relax and dine when skies are blue and Mission Bay a-buzz.

Cocktails are a specialty of the house so try "The Toblerone" - a mixture of 42 Below Vodka, Manuka honey, chocolate liquor, chocolate syrup and cream! Absolutely delicious, but not for those watching their waistline! Or for a light and refreshing cocktail with hints of Feijoa enjoy a "Sunny Backyard".

If you are feeling peckish, the Reef Salad is a wonderful combination of prawns, scallops, shrimp and fish served on a bed of mesclun leaves, asparagus and red onion. The dressing has a light summer citrus flavour that is the perfect accompaniment to the seafood.

The Reef Bar also offers a brunch menu until 4pm which includes all the old favourites (Reef Grill, Salmon Scramble) and a number of Thai delights.

Reef Bar is open 7 days from midday til late.

Dining at Mission Bay

Perhaps it's a picnic at the beach you're after? Try noodles from Otto Woo or a gourmet burger from Burger Fuel and finish off with a delicious Movenpick icecream. The coffee is spectacular too, with plenty of options to choose from.
