Six restaurants competed, six outstanding dishes were created and the fight for the Winterlicious title has been won!

…And the prize goes to Mission Bay Cafe, for their Dukkah Crusted Lamb Cutlets served with a crisp potato rosti, wilted spinach, and drizzled with pomegranate syrup (pictured).

The judges



Judges Nici Wickes and Alison Leonard were impressed by our restaurateurs' passion and enthusiasm. Six restaurants competed and six outstanding dishes made it a tough decision for them.
Nici Wickes travels the world as host of TV3's World Kitchen and is a restaurant reviewer for NZ Herald's Viva magazine.
Alison Leonard is Auckland's Easy Mix Breakfast Host and former Dancing with the Stars judge. A consummate foodie, Alison has rubbed shoulders with the likes of Rick Stein and Jamie Oliver.
