Mission Bay Cafe is situated in the heart of Mission Bay - directly under the Berkeley Cinema. A favourite with locals, Mission Bay Cafe is open 7 days for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner - from 7am till late.

A stunning selection of cakes and slices are perfectly partnered with one of our famous coffees or enjoy a chilled beer or glass of wine, over lunch or dinner. Mission Bay Cafe has an innovative menu that showcases the best that New Zealand has to offer. Mission Bay Café Summer Menu

Summer is here – and we’ve just been named the best cafe in Mission Bay by Metro magazine! So, come in and join us for a bite to eat, and check out our new drinks list too.

For breakfast enjoy some of our favourite dishes; including French Brioche Toast w vanilla poached peaches, blueberries, mascarpone & strawberry syrup, or The Vegetarian w minted pea fritters, lemon cottage cheese, free-range egg, roast vine tomatoes, portobello mushrooms & avocado salsa.

Along with your favourite lunch dishes are new ones for summer including Grilled Haloumi w beetroot, spinach, apple, toasted walnuts & citronette or Lamb Salad w olives,feta and raspberry mint dressing.

For dinner we have some favourites with a new look like our Boudin inspired Chicken (wrapped in bacon), served with spinach, kumara gratin & delicious spiced-plum. If you’re a seafood fan, our famous Salt and Pepper Squid will not disappoint.

This summer we’re pleased to offer some new desserts like a Vanilla and Strawberry Tart, while everyone’s favourite Rich Chocolate Molten is still there for all our die-hard chocolate fans.

Our range of fine loose leaf teas is supplied by Harney and Sons and our great coffee comes from the renowned Toasted Espresso Coffee Roasters.
